ALEXANDER OVECHKIN LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE
WASHINGTON, DC – NHL Superstar and reigning league MVP, Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals is pleased to announce the launch of his new official website – www.AlexOvechkin8.com. The site will serve as the ultimate resource for Ovechkin fans worldwide, as his global fan base continues to expand.
The site features Alex’s official news and announcements along with exclusive video highlights and an online store. Fans can also find out more about Alex’s “Crazy 8’s” community initiatives and upcoming online promotions via Ovi Nation, a dedicated social network channel scheduled to launch in conjunction with the NHL All Star activities in January 2009.

Ovechkin and the Capitals are playing well this season and he was just awarded an NHL Top Star for the month of November where he led all scorers with a total of 25 points.
